Merriweather arts & culture center

Over the course of two semesters, The Mill students worked with Merriweather Arts and Culture Center to create and implement ways to communicate the history and tell the story of Merriweather. Through a variety of unique deliverables, there is now a variety of ways that Merriweather's story is being shared, and a special way that the community can give back by sharing their own memories.

civic works

Over the course of two semesters, The Mill students worked with Civic Works to research ways to recognize the history behind the Clifton Mansion and acknowledge the enslaved people that worked there. As a result of this research, they created and visually branded an event celebrating Maryland Emancipation Day.

THE OBSERVATORY

Over the course of two semesters, The Mill partnered with The Friends of Patterson Park to raise awareness of the original name of the park's most famous structure, The Observatory, through branding, social media, and merchandise.

DJ Neil NINES
REBRANDING

Neil Nines is an established DJ, music producer, and artist  in Baltimore who has performed as Neil Paul. The designers focused on a rebrand introducing the DJ name Neil Nines.

The Mill collaborated with Stevenson alum Megan Lanasa, founder of BricknFire Pizza Company.

The Mill produced branding materials such as a new logo, posters, website, and a social media plan that was developed to include online learning and entertainment during the time of COVID-19.

St. Joseph's
medical center

The Mill helped show the community
through print collateral and videos that St. Joseph's takes responsibility
and importance in not only healing
their patients, but taking the
eco-friendly approach as well.

EASTERN COMMUNICATION ASSOCIATION

The Mill produced branding and video advertising for ECA's conference titled "Building Bridges"in the spring of 2018.

EXPEDITION 1

Over the course of two semesters, The Mill created a fashion movement called Stitching Maryland (MD) Together, and planned, advertised, and executed the Expedition I Fashion Show held at Rams Head Live with the support of PNC Bank.

The Mill produced maps, promotional videos, stickers, value boards, digital illustrations, and posters for Baltimore Greenway.
